Political Cartoon 3


The reality of how voters think during the voting process isn’t always as well thought out as society would prefer it to be. “Commit these names to memory and there’ll be no last minute confusion”. This statement says that as long as you know who you’re voting for, you don’t need to know about the issues. The comment about memorizing the names is said by a teacher (labeled good government) to her students (labeled Mr. & Mrs. Voter).To me this cartoon is saying that its better to vote for who you like more than the candidate who best represents the issues you believe in, which is a lie. Voting is an important role in society and while your vote still counts, keep in mind who you want to win based on the issues and not their name.

Well, i just picked a random one to comment, buuut...
Did you think about changing your order? I mean, that might help for people to see the state that the election was in at certain points in time. And for another thing, you also used a lot of Obama cartoons; maybe you could've tried dabbling in other things?
